Title
Description
Objective
Treatment Psilocybin-assisted therapy (PAT) is a promising intervention for addressing psychospiritual symptoms associated with cancer. Evidence supports feasibility and initial efficacy of PAT, yet results are limited in their generalizability due to homogenous and non-representative samples. This study aims to explicitly incorporate the voices of people with cancer who have been underrepresented in prior studies (people of color, people with limited educational attainment, and people at this intersection). A qualitative descriptive design will be used, ultimately identifying a set of categories and subcategories representing participants’ most common attitudes and perceptions about PAT.
