Free Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Screening at UWHC

Description
If you decide to participate in this research you will be asked to provide your name, address, and phone
number so that we may follow-up within 8 weeks of the free screening. At that time, we will ask you if you saw
a doctor and if you received a cancer diagnosis. If you received a cancer diagnosis, we will ask you to share
your medical records, including pathology and treatment information, with us.
Your participation will last about 5-10 minutes per session and will require 1 session, which will require 5-10
minutes in total.

Objective
The purpose of the research is to find out if abnormal findings identified during a free oral screening lead to a
cancer diagnosis.
